The project introduces the high school students to the excitement and intellectual task of understanding the financial markets and culminates in the annual Stock Market Analyst Competition.In preparing for the Stock Market Competition, the Dow, bonds, and cash. The students learn to observe the swings of the market and develop an understanding for what drives stock prices.
Over the course of six months, each team researches publicly traded Fortune company within one of the following four industries clothing, personal products, music and video stores, and video games. Once we defined our company, we discussed the best approach to delivering message that would redeem successful results. We are hopeful that our hard work and dedication will be reflected within our presentation. My ability to relate to the different experience levels of my team members allowed me to be better mentor in providing guidance and advice on stock market concepts.
